it's pretty simple to explain, but not always as straight forward to do. in order to plant multi-coloured plants you must be a moshi member first and even then, it's all about luck because you don't choose what colour the plant is.
Light that is white contains all the colours. When the light hits the leaf, it absorbs all the colours apart from the green light which is reflected back out to your eyes. So you see the leaf as green.

i think it depends on WHERE you explain it and WHO you explain it to.
