AnswerI agree with the answers below because they are from a dictionary. However, in our sensitive Iron Age environment, we should be very specific regarding our words. Culture is where the word "cult" is derived and we know the sinister connotation of that derivative. Therefore, albeit culture has a different colloquial usage, its derivatives can be a problem. However, a culture, if you will, needs semantics, the study of meaning, or else nobody could communicate. Our words become "understood" in the repetition of their usage, but sometimes we need to discuss their roots if the meaning has been lost. In other words, we start to take each other for granted. If we are insincere in this process, we never will get anywhere.

Therefore, an answer to culture could be a society not only where arts and intellect flourish, but also sincerity of the heart. Maybe the latter could be considered an attitude, but maybe something more with our feelings intact.
