兄 /a ni/ meaning 'older brother and 弟 /o tou to/ means younger brother. When used in direct speech or mentioning somebody else's brother, out of respect the two words' variants: お兄さん /o nii san/ and 弟さん /o tou to san/ in order, are used. The term 'brother' in titles gets transliterated to ブラザー /bu ra zaa/, it is also but not often used in spoken Japanese with the same meaning.
