first of all, there is no such word as exhilerate or exhilerated. The correct term is exhilarate/exhilarated and it means to cause to feel happily refreshed and energetic, elate ,to invigorate or stimulate and to have reached a point of such condition. People seem to have sometimes erroneously confused the meaning of this word as to be something close to the opposite, likely caused by the presence of first syllable; ex-, as in f instance " exhaust", " exertion" " exercise ", " exasperate " and the like.
