I darted through the frigid, misty forest escaping from the starving, aggressive wolves. Tree branches reached out at me and lacerated me, tearing my flesh deeply. Hot tears streamed down my face, but I was too frightened to stop. As I slipped my body underneath a gnarled, fallen over tree, my feet flew out from beneath me and I fell hard on the cold damp earth. Suddenly I heard the footsteps of a creature. Was it a wolf? Or perhaps even worse?
