She then gives us an assignment/task in which we must employ the technique we learned (for instance 'write a short story with three incremental perturbations'). At the end of the course we are given an assessment which in our case mainly involves writing a 2,500 word story in which we use the techniques we learned throughout the course. Also we must write a self critique explaining what we learned and how we improved.
