When you connect with an article, you are thinking of your own life and your own experiences and applying these to the article. Let's say that an example article is about a girl who had a kidney transplant. Your connections might be that one of your family members was an organ donor several years ago, you had one of your kidneys out, or some such connection. The thing about connections is that it all comes down to you. What are your experiences? What are your thoughts, your emotions? How do they relate to the article?
