How does the book Sons of Destiny end?

Darren defeats Steve, but before he dies, Mr. Tiny comes and tells them that he is their father. That he set up the entire "Lord of the Shadows" thing and that he would manipulate the winner of their battle, until he ruled the world. Darren didn't like this, so he let Steve kill him. Both of their souls end up in the Lake of Souls. 200 yrs into the future, Evanna fishes out Darren, and Mr. Tiny lets him become a little person. Des Tiny no longer has an intrest in Darren, but Evanna made a deal. She got pregnant and Tiny turned Darren into a little person and gave him a single chance at saving his soul. Evanna sews something into Darren's Little person robes, unoticed by Tiny, and they sent him to the place that started it all--the Cirque Du Freak. He finds out that the object Evanna put into his robe was his diary, and she filled it in on what he had to do to free his soul. As the younger him goes up to the bakcony where he overhears the conversation that changed his life. Before young Darren gets to the top, Little Person Darren comes up behind him and pulls off his hood, scaring the young Darren into running all of the way home. He then give the diary to Mr. Tall, who doesn't yet know him, but promises to mail the diary to Darren when he is older. Then Older Darren can publish it and the Vampires will see his story and never trust Tiny again. He then goes off on his own and dies. Darren goes to paradise and spends the rest of time with Mr. Crepsley.
