It really depends. Like if you really wanted to finish the book, some writers can take a week to write a novel. It depends on how devoted the writer is, how much thoughts is put into it, and how busy they may be, like, say the writer has a full or half time job, that would affect how much writing they could get down a day.
Think hard on what you consider to be the best day of your life. Then pick a day/event and write about what it was and why it was special to you. Good luck!

It doesn't matter what course you take, here are some good writing habits:Schedule time to write just as if you were scheduling time to go to workHave a quota - set an amount that you will write every day or every week and stick to itDon't wait for inspiration - "writer's block" is just a writer who thinks he or she has to wait for the "right moment" - see the rule above!Wait to edit - finish the writing first, then go back to edit - if you keep going over the same piece before you've finished, you'll never get to the end.
