At the first grade level, children should be spelling very simple words. The most complex I would get with them are words like stool, sleep, glue, sky, etc. Some tricky options might be comb, lamb, or elf.
In a 3 minute speech, there should be a minimum of 380 (if you speak slower) or maximum of 460 (if you speak a bit faster). Anything slower will become boring for the listeners and anything faster will be unclear and make you seem nervous. Same thing for 2 minutes. For a 2 minute speech, about 290-340 words will be fine. That should be about right because I have timed it myself saying it. Good luck!
By 9th grade a student should be able to read 219 WPM with comprehension. By 12th grade, 261 WPM.

A first grade student isn't tested on the number of words read a minute. They are tested on how many words that they read correctly on a page.
A fifth-grade student should be able to read between 100 to 150 words per minute with appropriate comprehension. This range can vary based on individual reading skills and the complexity of the text. Consistent practice and exposure to diverse reading materials can help improve their reading fluency.
A fourth-grade student should typically be able to read between 90 to 120 words per minute fluently. This range can vary depending on the individual's reading ability and exposure to reading. By this grade level, students are expected to demonstrate improved comprehension and expression in their reading. Regular practice and encouragement can help enhance their reading speed and skills.
As many as possible.
A seventh-grade boy should ideally be reading around 150 words per minute to be considered at grade level proficiency. It's important to keep in mind that reading speed can vary among individuals.

A 6th grader should be reading around 160 per minute by the end of the sixth grade year.
Good question. According to the DIBELS fluency test we use at my school, at the end of FIRST grade, a student should be able to read 1 word every second (60 words a minute). At the mid-year testing, FIRST GRADERS should be reading one word every 2-3 seconds (20-30 WPM). Each grade goes up a little from the end of First Grade. Second is 90-100 WPM and Third Grade is 110-120 WPM. Kindergarten does not focus on fluency in their testing. Probably because there aren't a lot of Kindergarten classrooms that have students reading sentences fluently enough to assess that. I would say that by the end of Kindergarten, a student should be reading at least 10-20 WPM if not more. https://dibels.uoregon.edu/training/measures/c-maps.php#1_ap
To find out how many words the student can type in 10 minutes, we first determine the typing rate. In 3 minutes, the student types 180 words, giving a rate of 60 words per minute (180 words ÷ 3 minutes). Using this rate, in 10 minutes, the student can type 600 words (60 words/minute × 10 minutes). Thus, the student can type 600 words in 10 minutes.
In one minute he or she should be able to read 12 or 15 words.
