18 is correct for most hotels, ( valid ID is required) Some have a rule of 21 and over. The only time to be under-age with out a parent or gardian, is if you are part of a group, like a sports team and you have chaperones and coaches.

With proper documentation it is permissible for minors, 14 through 17

years of age, to visit the Walt Disney World Vacation Kingdom

unescorted. During such visits the eldest or primary minor will be in

charge of the younger guests, with the names of all minors previously

listed on the reservation when booked.

A letter and parental agreement, separate from the confirmation, will be

mailed to the parent / guardian at the time the reservation is

confirmed. The parental agreement must be filled out completely and

notarized, then both the letter and parental agreement must be presented

to the front desk upon check-in.
