If your talking about declarative, interrogative, imperative, or exclamatory, then its definitely exclamatory.
It seems to be a declarative sentence, stating a fact. An exclamatory sentence would be more like: "Sally, look! Serigraphs are prints made by a silkscreen process and they make interesting patterns!"
In linguistics, a declarative sentence is a type of sentence that makes a statement or declaration. It is one of the four main sentence types, along with interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences. Declarative sentences typically end with a period and are used to convey information or facts.
To change a declarative sentence into an exclamatory sentence, simply add an exclamation mark at the end of the sentence. For example, changing "The sky is blue" to "The sky is blue!" adds an exclamatory tone to the statement.
To change an exclamatory sentence to a declarative one, simply remove the exclamation mark and rephrase the sentence without the expression of strong emotion or surprise. For example, the exclamatory sentence "What a beautiful sunset!" can be changed to the declarative "The sunset is beautiful."
A declarative statement ends in a period. An exclamatory sentence ends in an exclamation point. To change a declarative to an exclamatory, just change the punctuation and perhaps add emphasis. There is no water at the well. (Declarative) There is no water at the well! (Exclamatory)
