No, it usually is only like a benchmark test, and will only count as a percentage of the class and depending on your grade, you might or might not have to go to summer school.
For example, if you have an 'A' in the class and you fail the final, (let's say it was worth 10%) then your grade would be a 'B'
In other words it depends on your grade since its only another test...
It means escape without harm, avoiding the worse case scenario.Example:"Good thing I got an 82 on the final, or I would have had to go to summer school--I really dodged a bullet!"
If you are wanting to write a letter to your principal to get he or she to let you attend summer camp you need to first get it approved by your parents. After they say you can go to summer camp you can write a letter to your principal requesting they approve your admittance into summer camp. Your parents and your principal should get in contact and discuss the situation and decide if it is in your best interest to go to summer camp.
There is choice. Depending on the difference in meaning, we may say " She usually does not go to school," or " She does not usually go to school."
The proper way to say or write this is, "This is the school that I attend."
east noble middle school
If you fail school you will have to go to summer school to make up your grade, and if you don't you will get held back.
It depends on your school...you might have to go to summer school or do extra credit or something.
Your still going to summer school in the benchmark but in regular then you dont go
It depends. Some schools decide to hold you back if you don't go to summer school. Others just have you re-take that class the next year if you don't go. The limit of classes to fail to pass is two classes. Most of the time, if you failed two classes and don't go to summer school for them, you get held back. But like I said, you could also re-take those classes the next year. If you fail electives you don't have to go to summer school for them until you're in high school. If you fail electives in high school, that is. All summer school is, is a chance to bring your grades up from that year. Your grades technically don't even matter until the 9th grade. So it's not a big deal if you don't go to summer school.
No you cannot go to sumer school in 7th grade unless you pay for it! the only thing is that you might be going to a high school that is bad and you don't want to be in! so better do good in school if you want to go to Whitney young or lane or any of those perfect schools.
Yes, maybe. You can’t go to highly educational schools in 8th grade. Unless you have A+’s.
If it is required then you could fail the grade or get letters. If its optional nothing will happen. its your parent choice.
Yes, but only if summer school will give you the credits you need to go on to the next grade. Most likely if only the first quarter was successfully completed, summer school won't be enough to give you the qualifying credits to advance to the next grade. If it causes you to be so behind that even the credits earned in summer school won't get you to the next grade you'll just fail and have to do that whole grade over. Every school is different but no matter the school you still have to have a certain amount of credits to proceed to the higher grade level. That goes for every school.
if you are in high school and you do good in summer school, you gain your credits and DO NOT get held back, im in the same situation
The only summer school offered in Ascension Parish is for those students who fail the LEAP test. That means you would have to be in the 4th, 8th, 10th, or 11th grade. I do think that you can attend summer school in EBR for 7th grade.
Best thing to do is ask your teacher
It depends on the school system's policy and on why you have to go to summer school.
