Some believe that "husband of one wife" means one wife at a time". If one studies carefully and prayerfully the subject of marriage and Christ's views(which are the only accurate ones), one finds that from the beginning God intended the two(man and woman) to become one flesh. This, though The Bible calls it a great mystery, happens when a man goes in to a woman and it is an eternal bond in the sight of God. Though there are reason(s) given for seperation, ther are none for divorce and God said it is because of a hard and inpenatrant heart that man so does. The bible is clear. I a man marries a woman, or vice versa, who has been married, unless that one is a widow and not a divorcee, the sin is adultry. God is most serious about sex and how it is used. Sex outside of marriage is a sin against one's on body. Fornicators nor adultrers shall enter the kingdom of God and many are the pronouncements against such practices. A man called to preach the gospel must be far more careful as a spiritual leader. These things are thought lightly of in the present day but God does not change and there will be a judgement.
