Is Cyrano's willingness to deceive Roxane a flaw in his moral character?

I don't think that it is, it simply shows that he loves her enough that he will believe that she is in love with somebody else and try to make her happy through this. Thinking that he was not worth loving himself, he would too readily accept that such a beautiful lady would be able to easily fall in love with a handsome man. Wwould it have spared Roxane pain in the long term if Cyrano had not deceived her? This is likely, but perhaps shows a flaw in Cyrano's judgem,ent as opposed to character; however, LOVE IS BLIND.
