Is beauty contest a boon or bane?

It is both. Have found it interesting that while all contests still require you to be "beautiful" to enter, they all have begun to stress intelligence, by asking questions. Some of the questions are very lame and require an emotional response, rather than an intelligent response. Need to ask the same question of everyone. If swimsuits and evening gowns can take up half an hour. the question and answer should have more time. No more "spin" answers filled with buzz words. Part of the problem is that we accept what we are given, and don't ask for better.
