"Dasher the reindeer helps Santa pull the sleigh each year on Christmas Eve." "The occasional dasher would cross the street, narrowly avoiding being hit in the fast-moving traffic."
The noun dasher (a person or thing that dashes) is a common noun. The noun Dasher (the name of one of Santa's reindeer) is a proper noun because it is the name of something specific. A name of a person, place, or thing is always a proper noun.
a dasher is something to mix butter in
There is no standard collective noun specifically for reindeer, however the collective nouns for 'deer' can be used; for example, a herd of reindeer, a parcel of reindeer, a mob of reindeer, etc.
Well, isn't that a happy little question. "Reindeer" can actually be both singular and plural, just like how we can have one happy little bird or a whole flock of them. So whether you're talking about one reindeer or a whole bunch of them pulling Santa's sleigh, just remember to paint with a joyful heart and let your words flow like a gentle stream.

I would say Dasher is the most aggressiv reindeer. In Christmas Chronicles 2, Dasher was aggressive and fought the snow leopard! (I forgot his name! 😐) Of course that is just a movie but still it is a good example!
