* The Merriam-Webster Dictionary lists it as nonrefundable, one word, no hyphen. * Webster's New World Finance and Investment Dictionary lists it as non-refundable. * The MLA (Modern Language Association) style guide suggests non-refundable as a common style standard. Compare: non-returnable. (Cambridge English Dictionary)

GENERAL NOTES: For all prefixes such as co-, non-, ex- and pre- etc the prefixes are sometimes separated from the main word by a hyphen. Compare: co-worker, coworker; pre-emptive, preemptive.

The 'rules' for hyphens are complicated and the usage is not universally one way or another. Consequently Swan's 'Practical English Usage' suggests that, in cases of doubt, look in a dictionary, or, if that is not possible, write such words without a hyphen.

However, in the spefic case of 'non-refundable', it appears that the current style guides suggest that non-refundable would be a good standard style to use.
