How is this web lol?

Lol stands for "laugh out loud". its a web code used to describe the typer as to "lauging out loud". Other similar web codes are Rofl, "Rolling on floor laughing", LOLZ is the same thing as LOL, just with a useless Z.

What does ROFL stand for in text?

ROFL stand for "Rolling On Floor Laughing". (It was originally ROTFL.) It is an internet slang used to indicate great amusement at something, That you find something outrageously funny, even more than LOL (Laughing Out Loud). You can express yourself in a text message or email by adding "ROFL" at the end to show you are highly amused by something. Have fun with your new catchphrase! ROFL!Sometimes OIHAT will be added to the end of "ROFL", therefore changing it to: Rolling on floor laughing, oops I hit a table. This phrase is used more by the "class clowns" or the people trying to be funny.ROFL simply means Rolling On the Floor Laughing.

Is rofl used more or rotfl?

Based on a simple Googlefight, ROFL wins. rofl 22,800,000 results rotfl 6,740,000 results Rofl is used more than Rotfl. It is common sence to use ROFL instead of rotfl. xD There is no point in the "T," "the" is a short word that is so commonly used that it is pointless to put in rofl. That just makes it longer!! And isn't the whole point of abreviations to make words SHORTER!?! I have always heard it as rofl. On chatting sites I have always known it and heard it as ROFL not roTfl. When i didnt know wat rofl i asked some one and they said Rolling on the floor laughing, and i asked why not rotfl? and they said because rofl is shorter, sounds better, and the T, or "the" is such a short word that its useless. I rest my case. ;) Happy rofl-ing!!!
