The problem is that the "English" language has several sub-dialects and several experts working in diferent parts of the world who decide wheather a saying or new word is a legitimate "Word" tht has been added to the Language.
Both The Oxford and Webster Dictionaries release a a list of new "Entries" thet their experts feel are legitimate additions.
My best advice to you is find out who Publishes the "Difinitive" Dictionairy for your region and visit their WEB site.
