Another way to categorise types of context is: a) Historical Context (current goings on - political leaders/royalty, war, class structure) b) Literary Context (what was common among writing at the time - particular genres, styles of writing such as poetry, etc.) c) Author's Context (was the author in an abusive family? was he/she self educated?)
