I can't speak for everyone, but I'd say that we generally avoid the "swear words" unless we are asked to give a definition or discuss the origin of one of them. We also try to be factual rather than crude or rude. If we are asked questions about sexual subjects, we tend to answer in a way that is informative and objective, rather than by using the slang or controversial expressions for those subjects. If I had to define it, "vulgar" would probably mean using words that parents might not want their kids to say. I believe questions can be answered very effectively without using bad language.
