When a word or sentence is not clearly understood, inference context clues can be helpful in getting the idea of what that word or sentence means.
Inference context clues are helpful clues and hints that give the reader a better understanding of the meaning of what that word, sentence, phrase etc. is about.
Example:
Her face radiantly lit up when she opened her presents.
Her face radiantly lit up while she was looking at the Christmas tree.
Her face lit up.... gives clue/hint as to what the word "radiantly" means.
