Baracholka is a market place similar in the concept to bazaar. But most of the time it is bigger than bazaar where main offer is foods and household items while a baracholka specializes in sales of apparel and clothing. Baracholka can sometimes resemble those of swap meet or flea markets, but often time it is more organized, has a permanent location, has some of the infrastructure, and sales go non stop for 6 or 7 days a week. Physically a baracholka is made from sales stands or little shops that are continuously put together in long rows forming streets of stands and shops. The word "baracholka" originates from a Russian prison slang word "barachlo" meaning "clothes", "belongings", or "stuff".
