Synathesia, it is when, to put it simply, the senses in your brain are cross-wired. For example, many people who have synathesia see numbers and letters in colours. I, myself, have synathesia and I see sounds. So in the swimming pool, when the water is moving, I see little milky white dapples in front of my eyes. Jangling keys and such, is pink spot going in all directions. And when I hear loud noises or music, my brain hurts so I turn it down. I have had it all my life. I remember when I was like 7, telling this boy I knew about my colours when a dog yelped and I saw a zigzag of electric blue. He said I was lying, and that people who saw colours were mental, loony people. I replied, you're stupid. And stomped off. So there you go. But if anyone has synathesia, you are not crazy, you are very lucky. ;)
