Perhap this genuis of the SEC employees explains why it is they spent most of their time trying to placate Bernie Maddoff and get a job with his firm rather than investigating him for the biggest Ponzi scam in all History. And this is after various whistle-blowers LITERALLY DID THE SEC's JOB FOR THEM by showing proof of the crime which they did not prosecute until they had absolutely no choice.
