Hi, I am in this situation sometimes. I have been in this situation 2 times. First time me and two friends hang out a lot then one day they decidied I was "bad" and they shruged me off. But anyway, a third wheel is when you are in a three way friendship and the 2 other friends just decide the other one isn't needed or they don't like him/her.

I think you actually mean A FIFTH WHEEL -- the term "third wheel" isn't one I've ever heard. It means just what the above says, but it's fifth as in most automobiles have four wheels.
