This pretty much means that if you do something alone, you don't have anyone else to worry about and you can get everything you need done done. But if you have someone with you, you have another person to be responsible for, as well as waiting on them to "finish what they're doing" on time, and as accurate as needed... (At least that's what I think!)

hope i helped:)

If two waves start out in phase with one another but one wave travels half a wavelength farther than the other before they come together will the waves be in phase or out of phase when they combine?

When one wave travels half a wavelength farther than the other, they will be out of phase when they come together. This is because the extra half wavelength causes a phase shift of pi radians, resulting in destructive interference.

Why does your recorded voice repeated from a computer sound totally different from your normal voice?

This is because sound changes when it travels from one material to another. When you speak to another person, the sound travels solely through air towards the other persons ears. When you listen to yourself talk, the sound travels through your own body (jaw bone etc.) as well as through the air, this is why it sounds different when you listen to yourself talk.
