One day his class was visiting a museum and his teacher attacked him. His Latin teacher takes him to Camp Half-Blood where he finds he is a demigod. During a game of capture the flag Percy is claimed to be a son of Poseidon. Poseidon is being accused of stealing Zeus' master bolt. Percy and his newfound friend Annabeth (daughter of Athena) go on a quest to find the bolt. I wont say anything other than that! It's a really great book.
