a byrrgis is a special hunting formation made by the wolves of the beyond for hunting on the caribou moons and other occasions. (from the book series by kathryn lasky called Wolves Of The Beyond its really good go read it the first book is Lone Wolf second is Shadow wolf third is Watch Wolf and the forth is Frost Wolf but its not out yet)

What are the wolves of the beyond ranks?

Cheiftan (clan leader) Lords(Pack Leaders. The person who leads the hunting pack) Skreeleens: The lead howler.They howl about matters of prey and hunting.
