i am not sure how i would use the word paradox in a sentence but i can try and explain the word. A paradox is basically a longer version of an oxymoron, a paradox is a phras ewhich contradicts iself, e.g if i were to say the harmless brid was as dangerous as a falcon, that would be a paradox becaus ei am contradictiong myself, am very sorry this is not the best example but i you.

When you are reading for context, you are trying to figure out what a word might mean based on the other words of the sentence. A good sentence to help you learn what a paradox means might be the following.

Jack tried to figure out the paradox of being in two places at one time.

That hints that a paradox is something confusing. It means something that is highly unlikely, or even impossible, such as being in two places at once or going back into the past and killing your own father before you are born.

A paradox is a statement that seems true but at the same time seems to also have an opposite truth.
