Used in legal writing to direct the reader to the specific page where the material being referenced is located. i.e. Auld v. Auld, 697 P.2d 220, 224 (Or. App. 1985). The case is located in 697 volume of the Pacific reporter and begins on page 220. The quote or idea that is being referenced (the pincite) is located on pg 224.
