Does and doesn't are verbs (forms of the verb do).

Does is to perform, act, accomplish, put forth, be the cause of, conduct oneself, or proceed.

Doesn't is a contraction for 'does not', the opposite of does.

Example Sentence:

Jessie does chores every day after school, then he does his homework.

Jamie doesn't like chores, but he must do his homework.

Note: Does is also the plural of the noun doe, a female dear.
