a. That is a slang and somewhat offensive word. b. Each person has only one. c. Use your time to learn better grammar rather than poorer grammar. If 'Arse' is being used as so, "get your arses over here" then yes, it does have a plural.
In British slang this means 'head over heels'. It is not usually used to describe a couple 'head over heels' in love, but is more commonly used to describe a drunk person. Example: 'Oh look, Maria is arse over elbow on the wine again'.
The slang phrase (UK arse, US as*s) can be used to represent several separate and distinct situations:1) urban slang - When someone releases flatulence (farts) and the odor is particularly bad. "Yuck! It smells like something's died in the arse!"2) US, UK idiom - More commonly, it is used to indicate failure or inability to perform an action, so that one may say an electronic device "died in the arse" (a*ss) when it will not respond at all in its normal functions. Similarly, one's plans could "die in the arse" if they never proceed (in this case, synonymous with the idiom "never got off the ground").3) slang - Some have used the phrase "die in the arse" or "die in the bum" to mean having a big fright. It refers to the primal flight-or-fight response of blood draining away from non-essential organs.4) slang - As with #1, to defecate in one's pants. (In this instance, the slang scared shi*less is more commonly used).(see the dictionary link below)
It's hard not to give a smart arse answer when someone asks either a smart arse question or a really REALLY stupid one, like copying a multiple choice question off their homework without even reading it first. And people who don't check their spelling are asking for smart arse answers. I mean, honestly, "What is a pinus?" -- how can you NOT give that a smart arse answer? Check out some of the "Funniest Questions Ever Asked" category and you'll see what I mean.
Some people who answer questions on WikiAnswers do provide smart replies, but some of them are just trying to "be" smart and give stupid answers. If you don't get a real answer, you can just delete the "smart-arse" one and start over.
The word "arse" in German is "Hintern" or "Gesäß."
