In HTML, the <p> tag is used to configure a new paragraph. This element defines a block of text as a paragraph, automatically adding space before and after it to separate it from other elements. Additionally, CSS can be used to further style and adjust the appearance of paragraphs.
When you're writing (typing) a business letter, parts of of the letter begin at the centre of the page when you use Semi-block style. Hope that helps! =]
Both are used in comparison and contrast essays. Block involves describing one thing being compared/or contrasted, then describing the other thing being compared/contrasted. Point by point involves talking about the two items in regards for specific characteristics one point at a time. For example, you might discuss the size of object a and object b. Then you might move on to the color of object a and object b.

The three common styles of business letters are block style, modified block style, and semi-block style. Block style features all elements aligned to the left margin, providing a clean and straightforward appearance. Modified block style has the date, closing, and signature aligned to the right, while the rest remains left-aligned. Semi-block style includes indented paragraphs, offering a more traditional look, but is less commonly used in modern business communication.
A colon should be used after the salutation in a letter using the standard-block style.
