Should you capitalize economics in a sentence?

absolutely No. Economics is an academic discipline, like philosophy, algebra, music and chemistry. As such, it is not generally capitalized. However, when discussing a specific academic course at a learning institution, such as "Economics 101", or "Industrial Economics", it is proper to capitalize. Correct: Ayn Rand's understanding of economics was naive. Correct: I'm certain I passed my Economics and Asian Anthropology exams. Incorrect: I enjoy learning about Economics and Literature.

Only if it is the name of a class or the first word in the sentence. For instance, you could write, "I love algebra but my Algebra II teacher is very strict." and "Algebra is my second class of the day."

What is a sentence using the word algebra?

Algebra is a subject most students learn, then never use again, because they don't see the many ways it can be used. Some of the world's greatest mathematicians did not use algebra. Algebra, for some, is like trying to learn multiplication tables for the alphabet.

Do you capitalize the word Spanish when referring to the language?

Yes, the S of Spanish should be capitalized, and not just when you are referring to the language. If for instance, you write the words "Spanish culture," or "Spanish rice," or "Spanish people," the S should also be capitalized in those cases. (but in Spanish, the first letter of a language is not capitalized; i.e. ingles, not Ingles.)

Is chemistry difficult if you are good at algebra?

It should be easier for you if you are good at algebra than it would be if you were not. A significant amount of working with chemistry is the manipulation of symbolic forms used to understand what can and cannot happen, which is about the same as algebra (however the rules for manipulating the symbols are very different). Of course there are many other difficult things to learn in chemistry that algebra won't help you with at all.

How hard is chemistry if you are good at algebra?

After my opinion it is not true: if you are good at mathematics you must be good at chemistry and physics.
