Joomering is related to mountaineering and adventure sports. A Joomer is a device that slide only towards one way. if u try to slide it to other way it will get jammed on rope. so while climbing with rope one can slide it up and then put his body weight on it, it will pull the joomer downward and joomer will get jammed so your body will be hanging on with the joomer.. next stand up and joomer gets loose, then slide it again further up and again put you wirght and get hanged with it.. thus one person can climb more easily without stressing his arms. Joomering can be done with out device ,here we use prushik knot (special knot in climbing).
thanks
