Text structure is the manner in which information is organized and presented.

Examples would include, but are not limited to, the fictional texts and biographies that are generally used in a narrative structure and are meant to be read from beginning to end; nonfiction or informational texts that are organized by topics or into sections, using text features such as headings, bold print, or transitional words/phrases.

Also, the semantic and syntactic organizational arrangements used to present written information such as the following: sequence, description, compare-contrast, cause/effect, problem-solution, and persuasion.
