You might be looking for the word Adjective. Adjectives are describing words. They usually describe nouns. So, if you say that Bob drove his brand new, shiny, expensive, red convertible to the hot, smelly, oppressive adjective factory, then everything between "his" and "convertible" was an adjective, and I threw some in later in the sentence for good measure as well. :)
