it depends... if the word is to describe an object then i would say "normal",dull,boring ect but if it were to describe an act, like "And the witch doctor was practicing (MAGICAL) rituals with his fellow tribesmen" it would have no opposite without another describing word before or after it. So it may be a one of the very few words with Absolutely No Opposite, its opposite is NOTHING.

I'm assuming that you would be referring to the "peak" of a mountain. The peak of the mountain is generally the tallest point; thus opposite of the base.
