To enjoy life while he can
You read the book and you think to yourself what is it trying to tell or teach me, every book has a lesson it's just that some are more obvious then others. The objective may be in the form of a lesson its trying to teach you or what the story revovles around. The objective in the boy who cried wolf is a lesson teaching you not to lie or no one will beleive you or in the story charlottes web, the pig (wilbur) is trying to survive and the story revovles around what he does to survive. In the bible there a lot of parables with objectives hidden you can search on the web ' the lost lamb' and lots of searches will have the story will the explaination in this case the objective.
yes the lesson is from buzzword 8th grade English literature reader. (the small one). if you want to find a picture of him , good luck. its just not there.
You have to write them. There are no written plans. Objectives and ideas are given in TM, but you have to plan the lesson. Lesson plans are the bones of a lesson. They state what the students are expected to learn (objectives), how they are going to learn it, and the expected outcomes. Within the lesson plans are also the state standards and the areas the lesson will cover in that lesson. A lesson plan is not one day, but for a week and each day builds on the next day so there is a progression of learning. When looking a month of lesson plans the reader should be able to see the goal of the teacher and how the students learn what they are taught.
In a way you have to decide it yourself. Ask yourself what is the book trying to tell me? In a way it's like a moral of the story

In the story "The Aged Mother," the mother and her son are saved from being put to death by the decree of the ruler by the wisdom of the mother. She devises a plan to save her son and other elderly people by leading them to the mountains where they find a secret village of old people. The story ends with a lesson on the importance of respecting and valuing the wisdom of the elderly.

We have to bring respect and empathy with us
To find the main point in a story, look for the central theme or message that the author is trying to convey. Pay attention to recurring ideas, key events, and the resolution of the plot. Consider the overall impact or lesson that the story is trying to impart to its readers.
Well there really is no moral lesson because the movie was a true story, so if you want a moral lesson, the best one you will find is listen to the instructions given (because they told the city that there was an earthquake and that everyone should evacuate but nobody listened.
In the story "The Story of the Aged Mother," the last order of the governor was to eradicate all the old people in the land to reduce the population. The son, in a bid to save his mother from this decree, flees with her to the mountain where they find the wisdom and compassion of the aged mother ultimately saves her and the people of the land.
