munch is difficult to use as it is a present tense verb and in the present tense people usually say 'eat' instead. It's more often used in the past tense as 'munched'. But you could still use it:

  • Horses munch all day long and so good quality hay should make up a high proportion of their diet.
  • munch through.
  • munching on a carrot?
  • To make your breath stink, just munch on one slice of garlic bread.
  • clipper is still happily munching his way through the garden.
  • munching on the odd apple as we walked through the orchards.
  • munch so much curry and eat surely a ton of cake - most amusing.
