The poem "A Frog and a Bird" written by Vera Hessey" tells about understanding worth of people.The central idea revolves around the two main characters - the frog and the bird ,both

having contrasting characters.The frog is lazy and unscrupulous. He sits lonely by a quite stream on log eating choicest of flies.Suddenly he was disturbed a strange voice of a bird in the branches by calling his attention to take care that he would swept away in the stream which is upto brim. But the frog boasted of its natural strength.But in rerun it warned the bird which perched so high on a branch that it would fall and die. In reply,the bird told that it could fly.
