Churros are a traditional Spanish desert. They were developed by Spanish shepards. Up high in the mountains, fresh baked good were hard to come by, so the first ingenious nomadic folk came up with a delicious cake-like, cylinder shaped, pastry that could be easily cooked in a pan or over an open fire. This was the birth on churros.
