"I am prejudiced against him" is more appropriate and commonly used to express a biased or unfavorable attitude towards someone.
Yes, it is possible to say that someone is prejudiced if they hold negative attitudes or beliefs about a particular group of people based on stereotypes or misconceptions. It is important to address and challenge prejudice to promote understanding and equality.
This is debatable, but personally I think both Mr.Darcy and Elizabeth were prejudice. But in different ways. Lizzie was prejudice towards rich people, while at the same time Mr.Darcy was , I guess you could say, "ignorantly" or naturally prejudice. Since he comes from a rich family, he pays much attention to social ranks/classes. So he sometimes looks down on people of a lower status than himself. So I would have to say in the end they both are prejudice and they both are proud. Which is what makes the book so interesting. +++ The adjective form here should be "prejudiced", not "prejudice".
The preposition "against" is typically used after the word "prejudice." For example, one might say "prejudice against a certain group of people."
Some people many be prejudice against blacks. Here is what I would say to them. Did you pick white for your color? If they say no. I would say nobody gets to pick their color. You have to take what ever color God gives you. So why hold it against someone because he did not pick white.
No. This question shows a particular prejudice point of view.
Discriminative
A court itself cannot be described as "prejudiced" since it is an institution designed to uphold the law and ensure justice. However, individual judges or jurors may exhibit bias or prejudice that can affect their decision-making. When such bias is evident, it can lead to concerns about fairness in the trial process, potentially resulting in appeals or retrials. It's crucial for the judicial system to address any perceived prejudice to maintain public trust and uphold the rule of law.
Some man.I have to say who he was but knowone has an normal awnser instead their randling on about his life instead of telling you who he actually is and what he did.
Predjudice and discrimination are basically the same thing but they are different prejudice Alouthough people relate it mostly to racism to african americans it actually means your against something with no reason or for unreasonable reasons. discrimination means treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit. So I guess you could say they are both related because they both mean to be against something for reasons someone cannot help. also you could say there both against something i guess but it wouldn't be very descriptive.
It's wrong.
None any religion as a result of its existence it must be prejudiced against other religions otherwise it would be one of those other religions, There are any number of religions that preach tolerance and acceptance. Not all of those practice it. The Pagan path I am on requires me to respect the opinions, beliefs, life styles and choices of all others... this is not to say I am required to agree with them, just respect the person or people's right to believe as they choose.
