Subhas Chandra Bose used the greeting "Jai Hind" first but archives of our freedom struggle shows that it was the famous patriot Dr. Chembakaraman Pillai, who was the first to utter the mantra "Jai Hind".
It is not properly known that who was the person who first said Jai hind. But according to history-:
The most popular slogan on Indian soil, 'Jai Hind' is a contribution of Arabs.
The 'S' of Sanskrit becomes 'H' in Persian. The Europeans later changed Hind to India.
I think Great revolutaionary and patriot Chandrashekhar Azad first used the slogan "Bharat Mata Ki Jai " when he was sentenced to 15 whiplashes by a British Magistrate and after every stroke of the whip, he shouted loudly- "Bharat Mata Ki Jai ! He was punished to join the non-cooperation movement launched by Mahatma Gandhi and was Caught by the British police while indulging in revolutionary activities. At that time he was mere 15 years old.
