Why are there cliques?

I think that there are cliques because most girls which I call wannabes don't know how to stand up for themselves so they hang around tough "popular" brave girls to back them up but honestly the wannabes don't know that the popular girls get into problems easily. I am in a clique well i have a clique hating me so i have a problem with that i have 15 girls that hate me! I came here to get advice cause I don't feel that I wanna show my face to that school again. so to answer that question, there are cliques because girls are to over the top sometimes

Popular Kids(People who have tons of friends and are admired)

[names and faces that are thrown out there, and this isn't a clique really, its like a sub particle of individual cliques and sects in cliques.]

Jocks (Sporty kids)

[athletic funny, party goers, enthusiasts..but sometimes this 'jersey shore' spunk isn't whats asked or protrayed. so we have the less enthusiastic more goal proned jocks not the ones who see it as a door to parties and popularity and a way to get a freeby through the highschool years.]

Preps (Really spunky, over excited, highly-caffinated kids)

[lets be front here, there's the mean and the nice free spirited ones, male or female, they show the most pms OPENLY than most i have to say in my experience]

Drama/Music Geeks (Actors, singers, dancers, band geeks, orchestra people, choir etc.)

Nerds (People who like school and do really well in it)

[these dudes get looked over, because they're small or very tall, and shut themselves in the study groups at the corner of the library, sometimes they're cool, sometimes they act like they're at the top through grade average and honor society, but no one looks to that sorta "trade" they go for enthusiastic spunky preps and handsome loud mouthed jocks as they're "king and queen" like a kingdom]

Geeks/Losers/Wannabes (People who are intellegent and don't fit in)

[mostly because they talk about their computer HTML decoding, and most pple don't understand the inside of a computer other than facebook and email checking, wannabes try to be because they wish to fit in, the pple who are mean casts of any cliques may prevent that from happening. lighten up, we're all trying to live and make it through high school]

Punks (People who talk, act,and wear piercings)

Boarders (People who skateboard/snowboard)

[these guys like to hang and do their thing they have a bit of and edge to their attitude, but edge is good, as most boarders know]

Goths (People in love with black, who don't talk much, and, when they do talk, talk in awkward and weird ways)

[they talk just fine, perhaps it's an impediment, goths have become a wide range, and don't usually wear ALL black, it may just help blend them in the shadows and get them by each day of miserable useless school, cant forget all the hot famous pple out there that were once shady kids. whats to talk about, how different they are? we all know, so thusly nothing to talk about]

Emo Kids (People who also love black, and talk about death and depression)

[from the term emotional, Emote, emotionless, sometimes act Melancholy,can't be helped through situations at home and school, it's either their fault for playing victim and not boosting up self motivation, or there's pple out there being poop bags, and thus that needs to stop, and you can turn and face a new day from that poop, you have something called selective hearing. it's a great tool]

Foreign Kids (People from other countries like China, Germany, New Zealand etc.) [Asian/European/southern American/ Islanders....everyone digs foreigners]

Loners (People who don't hang out with people; people who stand by themselves and do nothing) [not always the case, they just might not enjoy the a ray of constant war between cliques, or even individual people just going all out, may not have much in common or are too focused with daily drone rituals that they don't feel socializing is a big part, cept it is when you get out there in the world]

Perverts (People who talk about sex all the time)

Goofballs/Clowns (People who act and talk funny and can get away with things)[but seen in detention,that's when you know....who ordered 40 party pizzas and put it on the principles tab]

...Aside from all this silly nonsense there is:

Individuals [A beautiful being with expanding Variety and eclectic. These dudes are probably the best. Individuals pick up handfuls of friends of the oddest sorts whether they get along or not with one another, the individual has a blessed gift to unite pple. no one really picks on em, because when someone tries to find a botton to press on them and asks about the person from other pple, the people nod and say 'nah, she's cool , like a poetic artist, a nomadic adventurer whos an ex Boxer and used to fly planes.' you can't pick them apart and they don't go down easily

Metal heads [long hair bandana, little grungy looking, may act as if they're playing Guitars and drums in the hallway, sometimes are in a way "barbaric and brutal" all i say is, take a chill pill crazy kids in the hall way, i know you love your bands and they love you back, but obnoxious drumming on the desks and screaming bout metal....relax lol]

There's also stoners and straightedge but they have levels that i wont go into. but like alpha and beta there's stoners and straightedge and popular or infamous as grand stands of EACH clique, in each clique someone smokes, or someone is straightedge (clean), and there's the most popular IN the clique and most infamous, whether pple like the bad ass getup or not, DEPENDS.

*stoners aren't druggies, they are of a different tensity of "Users".
