The average number of books read by a student is 2-3 books a month. This all depends on how big of a reader the student is and how many books are they reading in classes.

It, like the book preceding and following it, is a form of realistic fantasy. That is to say, the protagonists are human (or close enough to it) and the majority of their surroundings are decently tangible. It is not, however, realistic. There is inter-world-travel, a magic knife, and visible angels...and possessed computers. All in all, it's the Twilight or Harry Potter sort of fantasy, as opposed to the Lord of the Rings sort.
