You write poetry to express your fellings. you have to give it all out, it may be hard at first because you are not use to expossing your self but you shall get used to it. Also it is easier to write something down that to say it to someones face. I am not saying that you write down mean stuff about someone you can just put in a form of poetry in ways like a name poem, clerihew poem, haiku, stair poem, color poem, 5 w's, trinagular triplet, wish poem, concrete poem, limereck, giggle poetry, bio poem ormy favorite place.

∙ 14y agofiction is a type of literature that tells imagionary stories. It is viewed as a form of entertainment, it can be used in schools, as propoganda and as advertising. The writers imagine characters, plots, settings, themes, styles and a form of narration. People write fiction because thay have a talent to do so.

∙ 10y agoHaving written a book that has a lot of personal history in it, I can think of several good reasons:
- To be "first out of the gate" with your version of the story. For this person, it is all about controlling his legacy.
- To make money - just about everyone of note writes and autobiography. These can be really self-serving (see #1 above), but cna also shed light on historical events.
- To provide a record for children and grandchildren.
- To come to terms with their own past, and get closure on events that affected them, either positively or negatively. Writing down your thoughts can be hugely theraputic and cathartic.

∙ 8y agoPeople read Science Fiction because it is a way to escape our world and relax. Many people that like science are fascinated by how science is used in stories. Many of the people of NASA and inventors of gadgets say how science fiction inspired them to do what they do.
