∙ 16y agomore traditional artist believe art must have structure and be a specific talent that anyone can recognize. more experimental new-age artists believe that art can be what you make it, all you have to do is apply a meaning to something. traditional artists hate that concept because if that were the case, EVERYTHING would be art (because everything has some sort of meaning) and to "be a real artist" would mean nothing anymore.
